Any final thoughts or statements to make before we wrap up?
Well let me start by saying that this class has been a lot of fun. I really thought I would not like this class but, I was wrong. I enjoyed all my classmates and I have really enjoyed having Crystal as a professor. She was there when we needed her, she explained everything to us, she even went out of her way for quite a few of us. I will miss everyone and I was wondering where the time went? This term seemed to fly by I guess because it was fun. Well I wish everyone well and wish everyone good luck with the rest of their schooling and their chosen careers.

Do you feel nervous, accomplished, or just plain tired?
In all honesty I am plain worn out. This has been a very hard week. I not only had college composition page due I also had a 7 to 10 page paper that I had to do in A&P 2. Wow it's sad today but I am glad that this week is over. I will miss this particular class though and I will definately miss Crystal. This is my 4Th term here at Kaplan and I do have to say that she has been the best professor I have had so far. I hope to keep in touch with my classmates. If you would like to add me on fb my name is Barb Lutz Weber in Greensburg, IN. Take care everyone and I want to wish everyone very good luck in the rest of your classes and your chosen careers.

Do you plan to continue your blog even after the course?
I have not really thought about if I was going to continue with my blogs or not. I think I might keep posting on mine it is kind of fun to do these blogs every week it gives us a place to vent so to speak. It would be pretty interesting to see what people think of to blog about. I think that would be the hardest part on keeping our blogs going coming up with a title throughout the class we have had titles to choose from. So it will be very interesting to see what everyone comes up with. Yes I believe I will continue my blog.

How do you feel about peer reviews? What have your experiences with them been like?
I feel that the peer reviews are great. It gives us a chance to see what people think about our writing. It helps us to see what we need to work on, where we have done really good at, and how well it does or doesn't flow together. My experience with the peer review has been helpful. I wasn't really sure whaere I wanted to go with my paper but, I feel that I took the right path with it as I had three different ways that I could have went. I have had fun with this class and I can't believe that it is almost over already time has really flown by.

The last six weeks
Hello everyone and welcome back to my blog. Well we are in our sixth week of class. The time has definitely flown by doesn't seem like we have been in class that long yet. I have had fun with both my classes I have learnt a lot. I did get a little bit behind due to my surgery but, I have gotten caught back up. It has been pretty stressful at times. This week is definitely a stressful week for me as I have the draft due in college composition and I have an outline of my final paper in anatomy due as well this week. I know it will all work out in the end it just stresses me out a little bit. I have done so much reading for both classes that it is hard to explain what is going through my head. I have enjoyed doing the research for both classes as my chosen topics do relate to me or my family so that helps. It hasn't all been stressful some of it has actually been fun. I think it also helps that we have a very fun professor.

My week
Hello again everyone. This week has been very stressful for me. I had my surgery and now I am awaiting the results as to if I have cancer or not and if I will have to turn around and go back to have a hysterectomy or not. I am still recovering I have some good days and had quite a few bad days. I am still in pain off and on. I am still not allowed to do much other than rest. I enjoy getting some rest but come on it's been a week now. I guess I had a rough time through surgery as a simple 15-20 minute surgery turned into almost an hour so yeah I'm pretty stressed out at the moment. I am keeping my fingers crossed that I am good to go. I am still trying to get caught back up in my classes. This class wasn't so bad but try getting caught up in anatomy II once you get behind not fun or easy. Thank you all for working with me and for understanding. And a big thank you to Professor McCage for working with me on my posts and everything else. I really appreciate it.

The reason we should always use citations
We should always use citations because if we don't it is easy for any of us to commit plagiarism. Plagiarism is very easy to do as we do our discussion posts and our papers. I do not feel that any of us would intentionally commit plagiarism but, whether we do it intentionally or accidentally there are very serious punishments for this. It would not be right for any of us to take the credit for someone else's hard work as we would not like it one bit if we were to bust our behinds and have someone else come along and take credit for our hard work. I think that it is good to have named this particular thing as I am sure that it does go on a lot. It takes some time to do a good paper and if you take the time and pride in your paper then pay close attention to what you are using and how it is being worded. If you take something word for word you should always use quotations followed by the actual author's name to avoid being hit with plagiarism. I am sure that I am not alone when I say that it would really devastate me if I was to work so hard on my papers only to find out that someone has stolen what I have put so much time and hard work into. There is an old saying and that is "do unto others as you would have done to you". So to put that in simple terms if you would not like for your hard work to be stolen then do not steal someone else's hard work. If you use something from someone make sure you take the time to give them the credit that they have earned. Kaplan has some serious consequences when a student is caught doing plagiarism as should all schools. My daughter is in the 6th grade and they never had APA in school back when I went but I had to help my daughter use APA format on one of her papers and I think that is great. I am currently working with both my children on teaching them the correct form of APA.
